Retreat brand identity 2017 & 2018

Addepar hosted an annual retreat that brought 3 office locations together to celebrate growth and build community. I collaborated with the Events Manager to strategize on deliverables, messaging, art direction, and production.

I designed a template inspired by the graphic vernacular of a postage stamp, offering a canvas for distinctive illustrations each year within the master template. This approach ensured a consistent representation of travel and communication throughout various collateral. Taking charge of the entire creative process, I crafted all illustrations, digital and printed collateral, event wayfinding, and managed production and site installation. Every detail aimed to create a cohesive visual experience.

The system

In 2017, the illustrations were built to highlight fun parts of the experience. Showcasing different activities the employees could participate in.

For the 2018 stamp illustration style, I built a system based on each of the states symbols (CA, UT, NY).

Collaborating with our in-house developer, I crafted a flexible website template. The primary goal was to ignite enthusiasm about the offerings, provide informative answers to questions, assist with travel needs, and facilitate RSVPs. The website design aimed to create an engaging and user-friendly experience, ensuring visitors could easily explore and interact with the content.

Digital Components

I designed brochures and wayfinding for the employees. It was included in a welcome pack that would help navigate their time while at the retreat. Bonus skill - I helped arrange all the flowers for the event as well!
